I hope everyone is enjoying the start of their spring break. The PTO doesn't take a vacation though! We've been working on the yearbook, school garden, planning BINGO Night and a revamped bulletin board. With spring comes spring planting and gardening. The garden club was outside last week sanding, painting and refilling planter boxes in the glorious sunshine. A big thank you to Tim Custer for rebuilding our planter boxes. It's hard work, but someone has to do it!
The yearbook is slowing coming together. Last Thursday, between Read-a-Thon reward movie parties, we were busy taking class pictures in the library. Angela and Vinson Svetich generously donated their time and skills to make it possible. I cannot wait to see the finished pictures and to add them to the yearbook. That being said, we still need pictures! 3rd, 4th and 5th grade pages need more pictures, but pictures from any events, activities, field trips or classroom fun are welcome. Just email them to [email protected] BINGO Night is just around the corner. We have collected all the donations for the grade level silent auction baskets. Thank you for your donations. Our wonderful BINGO Chairperson and Fundraising Coordinator will be busy making baskets this week. I am sure the finished products will be wonderful. Silent Auction bidding sheets will go out in front of the office on March 28th. We have lots of wonderful items to bid on and even more terrific BINGO prizes. BINGO Night cannot happen without volunteers. Can you donate 30 minutes of your time on April 1st between 5:30-8pm? We need people to sell BINGO Cards, daubers, Kona Bowls and hot dogs. Set Up and Clean Up volunteers are always welcome too. Please contact [email protected] if you are interested. BINGO is our biggest fundraising event of the year!
